DIA DIRECTOR ADDRESSES CONGRESS AT ANNUAL THREAT ASSESSMENT HEARINGS
On Monday, March 11, DIA Director Lt. Gen. Jeff Kruse joined the directors of the Central Intelligence Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Security Agency, U.S. Department of State Bureau of Intelligence and Research and the Director of National Intelligence to present the Intelligence Community’s Annual Threat Assessment report to Congress.

The report represents the IC’s collective findings on worldwide threats to the United States. The directors answered questions from the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI). Transcripts of the SSCI and HPSCI hearings are available online.
This was the first hearing that Kruse attended as director of DIA. He spoke on strategic competition with China, the threat posed by Russia and next steps in Ukraine. He also highlighted the Agency’s work with disruptive technologies and artificial intelligence.
