NIU and IADC Engage Future Leaders of the Americas With Strategic Intelligence Day
WASHINGTON, DC - The first joint educational "Strategic Intelligence Day" hosted by NIU and the Inter-American Defense College (IADC) last week featured special guest speaker Deputy Director of DIA David Shedd, who spoke about the challenges of intelligence at the strategic national level in today's ever changing world. "The students, senior and future leaders who represent 15 countries, were astonished that the Deputy Director of DIA would speak so candidly and answer all their questions without pulling any punches," said event host Eric Hammersen, NIU VP of the Office of Outreach.
