Media Advisory: DIA Holds 2016 Intelligence Information Systems Worldwide Conference

Reporters are invited to cover DIA’s 2016 Intelligence Information Systems Worldwide Conference, “DoDIIS Worldwide,” Aug. 1-3 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

The conference theme, “Mission Integration at the Speed of Operations,” highlights DIA’s commitment to provide rapid, integrated solutions to our mission partners and customers worldwide.

In addition to keynote remarks by DIA Director LtGen Vincent Stewart, U.S. Marine Corps and Chief Information Officer Janice Glover-Jones, confirmed speakers include:

  • Congressman Lynn Westmoreland, 3rd District, Georgia

  • Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper

  • Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence (USDI) Marcel Lettre

  • Commander U.S. Transportation Command, Gen. Darren W. McDew, U.S. Air Force

  • Commander U.S. Pacific Command, Adm. Harry B. Harris, U.S. Navy 

The conference includes a comprehensive selection of other plenary speakers from the Department of Defense, the uniformed military services, Federal Communications Commission, Office of the Director for National Intelligence, Federal Bureau of Investigation and Central Intelligence Agency. There are more than 40 breakout sessions focusing on integration across the Intelligence Community (IC), integration between intelligence and mission, and on rapidly developing and deploying mission-focused solutions to the warfighter.

The conference provides a one-of-a-kind experience where attendees have the opportunity to interact with a broad range of IC, DoD and industry leaders about the IT issues impacting the mission user. More than 2,000 government, military and industry participants, and 300+ exhibits from around the globe are expected.
