DIA Director Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn speaks before the House Armed Services Committee, Sub-Committee on Intelligence, Emerging Threats, and Capabilities to present DIA’s Fiscal Year 2015 budget request. He joined Dr. Michael G. Vickers, Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, Ms. Letitia A. Long, Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, and Mr. Richard H. Ledgett, Jr., Deputy Director of the National Security Agency.
Flynn detailed several areas of importance, including the need for timely and accurate intelligence, counterintelligence concerns, new workforce training and development programs, and the importance of intelligence integration to operation decision-making and strategic policy, as well as stressing DIA’s new emphasis on small business and innovation.
