DIA’s National Intelligence University hosted NATO HUMINT Centre of Excellence Director Eduard Simion, a colonel in the Romanian army, as part of its distinguished speakers and international engagement programs Jan. 12-17.
HCOE strives to provide the highest quality service and products in response to NATO requirements and partner nations. As director, Simion hopes to consolidate HCOE’s position as the hub of all human intelligence expertise within NATO. As part of this vision, Simion visited DIA, which serves as the U.S. military human intelligence manager.
“DIA has been from the very beginning a strong advocate and supporter during the establishment and development of the NATO HUMINT Centre of Excellence,” said Simion.
