The theme for DIA’s Innovation Symposium 2014 is “Embracing
Agility in a Rapidly Changing World.” This Innovation Symposium will be an
opportunity for our industry partners to hear presentations from agency senior
leadership on DIA’s current challenges and efforts to maximize our agility for
a rapidly changing global landscape. We hope it will help inform your reporting
on important DIA initiatives.
Building upon last year’s DIA’s Innovation Day, this year’s
two-day event includes sessions on our progress with NeedipeDIA and the Open
Innovation Gateway, and features speakers and panels on “DIA’s IC ITE Adoption
Story,” “Doing Business at the Pace of Innovation,” and “Connecting IT
Innovation with Mission and Business Values.” DIA Director LTG Michael Flynn
will offer remarks to open and close the symposium.
We’ve arranged for permission to use recorders, laptops and
cameras in the symposium area to make coverage more conducive.
