DIA Director Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn spoke to the Airborne ISR and C2 Battle Management Conference in London Feb. 26 about the future of defense intelligence and the challenges and benefits of international partnerships.
With more than 180 delegates from 20 nations, “Airborne ISR and C2 Battle Management 2014” was the first-ever event to unite the intelligence-surveillance-reconnaissance (ISR) and airborne early warning (AEW) communities. With keynote briefings from leaders representing the U.K., U.S., Algeria and NATO, the speaker faculty was matched only by support from key industry partners.
The conference was the most comprehensive aerial domain awareness event in Europe to date, and united ISR and AEW experts to debate how to increase the interoperability and effectiveness of joint ISR and AEW operations.
