Worldwide Threats Hearing Held Before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
DIA Director Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn joined Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, CIA Director John Brennan, FBI Director James Comey, and National Center for Counterterrorism Director Matt Olsen in an open hearing briefing members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI). DNI Clapper provided an opening statement that placed focus on cybersecurity, counterterrorism, the impact of intelligence compromises and regional conflicts. These leaders testified in a closed session the previous day.
This is the second of three scheduled hearings where LTG Flynn will testify in open session on emerging threats. He will appear before the Senate Armed Services Committee on February 11th and previously testified before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on January 29th.
