The Defense Intelligence Agency’s first issue in its new comic-book series illustrates the importance of foundational military intelligence.
And it’s no laughing matter!
There’s more than one way to tell a story, and this example appeals to people of all ages, said Acting Multimedia Branch Chief Myles Scrinopskie.
“It’s a fun, creative and educational way to show what DIA brings to the fight,” he added.
Future issues will shed light on other aspects of DIA’s mission, which is to provide intelligence on foreign militaries to prevent and win wars.
The agency celebrated its 60th anniversary in October.
