Employees can visit the "DIA
Daily Updates" Intelshare page on Intelink.gov for critical workforce updates, messages from
DIA leadership, training and career development resources. The Intelshare page is Common Access
Card-enabled. Guidance on accessing information from a home computer using a CAC reader is detailed below.

Trusted
Traveler
Program is suspended until further notice. Further information is available on the JBAB Facebook page, the JBAB Visitor
Access Site and the 11th
Wing
Public Affairs page.
In addition to the 100% ID checks of all individuals 18 and older already required when entering the
installation, the
11th Security Forces Squadron will require all visitors who do not possess a Department of Defense ID card
(Common
Access Card or Defense Biometric Identification System credential) to obtain a base pass to access the
installation.
Passes may be obtained from the Joint Visitor’s Center (256 McGuire Ave SE Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC),
Monday –
Friday, 5 a.m. – 4 p.m. After hours, 24-hour access only passes may be issued at the base gate.
Additionally, DIA personnel outside DIA Headquarters should consult their own local installations for updated
procedures
on bringing visitors without DoD CAC or DBIDS credentials onto the installation.
Here are some basic user instructions for logging into the site https://portal.apps.mil/
1. Open the Website
2. Use a Compatible Browser
- Ensure you are using a compatible browser, such as Microsoft Edge
or Google Chrome, to avoid access issues.
3. Connect Your CAC (Common Access Card)
- Insert your Common Access Card (CAC) into the CAC
reader connected to your device.
4. Select Your CAC Certificate
- When prompted, choose the appropriate certificate (usually the
one labeled "Email" or "Authentication").
5. Enter Your PIN
- Enter your CAC PIN when prompted. Ensure the PIN is entered correctly to
avoid being locked out.
6. Access the Portal
- Once authenticated, you will be redirected to the portal homepage.
7. Troubleshooting Login Issues
- Ensure your CAC reader is properly connected and functioning.
- Check that your CAC certificates are up-to-date
- If login issues persist, contact your IT
support or the portal's help desk for assistance
