Mi-28 HAVOC in Afghanistan, unknown artist, undated. The Mi-28 (NATO name: HAVOC) is a two-seat, twin-turbine combat helicopter. Armed with a 30 mm turret-mounted gun, anti-tank guided missiles, and rockets, the HAVOC is capable of delivering heavy concentrated fire on ground targets. The Russians have produced only small numbers of the Mi-28, which is still under consideration as the next generation of attack helicopters.
