DIA's Office of the Acquisition Executive (AE) includes specialized teams of experienced contracting officers and contracting specialists who work to fulfill agency requirements with "best-value" products and services … the right solutions at fair and reasonable prices. In addition, AE continually monitors acquisition laws, regulations, policies and best practices to train and guide the agency for acquisition excellence.
