MSSI Thesis and Research Fair

All Master of Science of Strategic Intelligence students are required to write a master's thesis on an intelligence-related topic. To ensure that our research is aligned with the needs of the Intelligence Community, the College hosts an annual Research Fair.

Annual Research Fair

At the beginning of each academic year, the College organizes a Research Fair to provide students an unparalleled opportunity to explore potential thesis topics with key organizations from the national security and intelligence communities. In this four-hour forum, students can discuss priority intelligence issues with national intelligence experts in a classified environment. Participating organizations assist students in focusing student research and intelligence skills on issues related to critical mission objectives, ranging from the effective transformation of the intelligence enterprise to enhanced assessments of the threat environment. The networks established during the Research Fair provide students with a valuable resource throughout the academic year and in their onward professional career. Many of the theses produced as a result can have a significant positive impact on the nation’s national security goals and intelligence work.
